21st Annual Week of Italian Language in the World
Dante is perhaps the best known poet in the world, and the Divine Comedy has certainly influenced the imagination of every generation that has come after it. The work of Il Sommo Poeta (the Supreme Poet) endures across space and time, remaining very much alive in our present world. It is an exceptional work that still manages to bring us together, addressing our fears, our feelings, and our imperfections–a universal and universally recognized masterpiece.
Dante Plus 700 USA is a collective exhibition showcasing the work of 150 graphic and street artists, featuring installations, performances and augmented reality. Part of the official celebrations for Dante’s 700th anniversary, the show is available online on the occasion of the Italian Language Week in the World, presented by the Italian Cultural Institutes in the USA.
