{"id":118,"date":"2023-04-03T20:57:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-04T03:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iicsanfrancisco.esteri.it\/lingua-e-cultura\/premi-alla-traduzione\/"},"modified":"2026-02-25T12:55:18","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T19:55:18","slug":"premi-alla-traduzione","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/iicsanfrancisco.esteri.it\/en\/lingua-e-cultura\/grant-for-study-and-research-for-the-year-2023\/premi-alla-traduzione\/","title":{"rendered":"Translation Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>AWARDS AND GRANTS FOR THE TRANSLATION OF LITERARY AND SCIENTIFIC WORKS (INCLUDING DIGITAL FORMAT) AND FOR THE PRODUCTION, DUBBING OR SUBTITLING INTO FOREIGN LANGUAGES OF SHORT FILMS, FEATURE FILMS AND TELEVISION SERIES (CHAPTER 2619 P.G. 9) \u2013 CALL FOR APPLICATIONS 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<header class=\"entry-header\"><strong>WHO CAN APPLY<\/strong><\/header>\n<p>Publishers, translators, production\/distribution\/dubbing\/subtitling companies, cultural institutions, literary agents and agencies located both in Italy and abroad.<\/p>\n<header><\/header>\n<p><strong>TYPES OF INCENTIVES<\/strong><\/p>\n<header class=\"entry-header\"><strong>Grants<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"683\" data-end=\"988\">\n<p data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"988\">Funding for translation and publication (including digital format) of Italian literary and scientific works to be published after July 1, 2026, or published before the completion of the evaluation and grant-award procedures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1260\">\n<p data-start=\"992\" data-end=\"1260\">Funding for production, dubbing or subtitling in foreign languages of short films, feature films and television series to be released after July 1st, 2026, or published before the completion of the evaluation and grant-award procedures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1279\" data-end=\"1396\">\n<p data-start=\"1281\" data-end=\"1396\">An award may be requested for the translation of Italian literary and scientific works (including digital format).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>An award may be requested for short films, feature films, and television series intended for mass media that have been disseminated, translated, produced, dubbed, or subtitled after January 1, 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1615\" data-end=\"1644\"><strong data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1644\">APPLICATION PROCEDURE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1646\" data-end=\"1862\">Applications, in accordance with the provisions set out in the attached call for applications, must be submitted exclusively using the official application form and must include all required supporting documentation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1646\" data-end=\"1862\"><a href=\"https:\/\/iicsanfrancisco.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/2026-modulo-di-domanda-IT-EN-ESP_RICHIEDENTE.docx\">APPLICATION FORM<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/iicsanfrancisco.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/ENG-2026-Bando-Premi-e-Contributi.pdf\">CALL FOR AWARDS AND GRANTS &#8211;
