A call is now open for the allocation of 8 places<\/strong> for native-speaking translators (German, English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic) for a 4-week residency<\/strong> from July 26 to August 23, 2026,<\/strong> at Venice International University.<\/p>\n

The program includes room and board<\/strong> (travel expenses not covered) and access to university facilities. Applicants must have either a publishing contract<\/strong> or a translation project<\/strong> for an Italian literary or non-fiction work.<\/p>\n

Applications must be submitted by 12:00 PM on April 30, 2026<\/strong>, via email at viu@registerpec.it<\/a> and viu@univiu.org<\/a>, including CV, publishing documentation, and a translation project.<\/p>\n

Applications will be evaluated by a selection committee; selected candidates will also take part in public cultural activities<\/strong> during the residency.<\/p>\n
