The Art and Spark of Children's Books

The Art and Spark of Children's Books

Illustrators and storytellers show kids how to expand their creativity by exploring the world of imagination.

The Italian Cultural Institute will host a round table related to the creativity behind Italian fairytales and the current state of Italian children’s literature. The speakers will be Giovanna Zoboli, writer and co-founder of the illustrated children’s book publisher Topipittori; Simona Mulazzani, illustrator of over 60 adults’ and children’s books; and Maria Giaramidaro, CEO of Oliver Lab, a non-profit organization aiming to promote children's literature in Italy. The three speakers will entertain kids and their parents through reading and an on-site workshop. This event is part of Litquake and the International Week of the Italian Language.
