IoT Designers: Andrea Trasatti meets Leandro Agró

IoT Designers: Andrea Trasatti meets Leandro Agró

This talk will offer a point of view that starts from an Italian design perspective and will take us to imagine our near future. Leandro Agrò (Digital Design Director at Design Group Italia and author of the books IoT Designer and Internet of Humans, meets Andrea Trasatti (Senior Product Manager at Samsung-ArtiK). Our two speakers will discuss what it means to be a "technology designer" today and what is the internet of things. Together they will explore the meaning of "cultural acceptability," and how the "asymmetric aging of physical objects and software" works. Among other topics, they will talk about how to find a balance between local-autonomy of objects and remote-intelligence located in the cloud, and how connected objects are changing organizations that are designing and producing them.

If you are an IoT user, designer, or programmer, this presentation will give you a new and fresh perspective on this new technology.
