TTOZOI: Genius Loci

TTOZOI: Genius Loci

Created by Stefano Forgione and Giuseppe Rossi, two Italian artists working under the pseudonym TTOZOI, the exhibition Genius Loci features works of art in situ created at the UNESCO historical sites of Reggia di Caserta (The Royal Palace of Caserta) and Pompeii, as well as in the Jewish Ghetto of Rome. Forgione and Rossi use an original technique of natural proliferation of molds on jute, combined with their artistic intervention.

Genius Loci will open on February 7, 2019 at the Museo Italo Americano.

This exhibition is sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco, under the patronage of the Consul General of Italy in San Francisco, with additional support from La Scuola International School, and it is co-curated by Anna Dusi and Mary Serventi Steiner.
