5th Week of Italian Cuisine in the World | Native Italian Grapes - Part 3: Northern Italy

No other country in the world even comes close to offering the number of distinct grape varieties found in Italy. Join the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco for this three-part Zoom series on Native Italian Grapes presented by Leslie Rosa, a sommelier and Founder of La Dolce Vigna Wine + Culture Tour Co. Each Zoom will highlight a selection of these unique grape varieties, the wines they make, as well as the cuisine that traditionally accompanies them.

Monday, November 16th at 11:00 am PST - Southern Italy

Monday, November 30th at 11:00 am PST - Central Italy

Monday, December 07th at 11:00 am PST - Northern Italy

The three webinars are offered free of charge by the IIC San Francisco on the occasion of the 5th edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World.

After a decade of working in the art world for eminent institutions and artists in New York and London, Leslie moved to Italy, fell in love with Italian wine and became a certified sommelier through the Associazione Italiana Sommelier. She created La Dolce Vigna in response to the large, impersonal tours she came across while living in Italy. Her passion is to provide clients with curated tours and itineraries in which each day tells a story and offers an in-depth look at the history and culture of a particular region. When not leading tours in Italy, California or Argentina, you can find Leslie sharing her knowledge at pop-up wine tastings, writing for Slow Food’s Wine Guide or getting lost somewhere beautiful with her watercolor set.
