Join us for an intimate musical soirée featuring a special preview of the opera Astianatte, presented by Céline Ricci, founder and artistic director of Ars Minerva.

Céline will be joined by Nika Printz (mezzo soprano), Deborah Rosengaus (mezzo soprano) and Lindsay Rader (piano) to give us a taste of this rarely performed masterpiece, composed by Leonardo Vinci in 1725 with a libretto by Antonio Salvi.

The full production will be presented on October 21, 22 & 23, 2022 at ODC Theater.

ARS MINERVA is a San Francisco-based, 501(c)3 performing arts organization created in 2013 by Céline Ricci. Its mission is to engage new audiences for classical music through innovative productions of Baroque operas, bringing forgotten music back to life, in collaboration with artists in the San Francisco Bay Area.

CÉLINE RICCI is Ars Minerva's Founder / Executive Artistic Director. She directed Ars Minerva's productions La Cleopatra, The Amazons in the Fortunate Isles, La Circe and Ifigenia in Aulide, Ermelinda and Messalina. Born in Florence of Italian and French parents, Céline studied in Paris and continued her post-graduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
