The Sacramento Jewish Film Festival presents Maledetto Modigliani (Maverick Modigliani)

Enjoy the art and life of Jewish Italian painter and sculptor Amedeo Modigliani (1884-1920) as you watch Maverick Modigliani, an art documentary marking the 100th anniversary of the artist’s death.
The film follows Modigliani from his native Livorno (Italy) to the Paris of Picasso and Brancusi. Archival footage and historical re-enactments help imagine the time and the women who inspired Modigliani’s avant garde paintings.
