Join us for My Antonioni, a special event held at the Italian Cultural Institute as a companion to the Castro series. The program is divided in three parts:
My Antonioni
Film scholar Noa Steimatsky presents Carlo di Carlo’s book My Antonioni, a collection of the director’s personal writings (edited by Istituto Luce Cinecittà and Cineteca di Bologna).
Antonioni and My Profession as an Architect
Architect Dante Bini, inventor of the celebrated Binishell building system, gives a talk about the villa that he created for Michelangelo Antonioni in Costa Paradiso (Sardinia).
La Cupola
The event closes with the screening of La Cupola, a documentary by Volker Satter (2016, 40 min) about the domed villa in Costa Paradiso.
