L’io lirico e l’altro | A conversation with Alessandro Lutman

Poetry and travel intertwine in Alessandro Lutman‘s presentation, as the young Italian poet introduces his work, and talk about the different cultures that influenced his lyrics.

Born in Trieste, Alessandro Lutman graduated in foreign languages and currently studies history at the University of Udine. In 2015 Lutman published the collection Autumn Poems. He presented his work in Algiers, Copenhagen, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Paris, Beijing, and Ljubljana. He was a guest at the Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival in Calcutta, India, and at the Word N Sound Youth International Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The event is organized in collaboration with Fogolar Furlan Nord California and the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco.
