The Italian Sport Shoes Design #WeMakeSportHappen exhibition arrives at the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco, offering visitors an immersive journey through the innovation, creativity, and craftsmanship that have made Italy a world leader in sports footwear design.
Curated by the Treviso-based Fondazione SportSystem, the exhibition, presented through a series of display panels, explores the evolution and legacy of Italian design applied to sports products through iconic footwear, multimedia installations, interviews with industry leaders, and videos produced by some of Italy’s leading sportswear brands. The exhibition showcases the people, products, and ideas that have contributed to the global success and excellence of Made in Italy sports footwear.
Visitors will discover how Italian companies have transformed the technical sports footwear industry through innovative design, cutting-edge technologies, and a constant pursuit of the balance between performance and style. The exhibition highlights the intersection of sport, innovation, manufacturing excellence, and cultural heritage.
The exhibition is organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and presented in San Francisco by the Italian Cultural Institute, under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco, in collaboration with Fondazione SportSystem.
