The 17th edition of Italian Contemporary Art Day AMACI will be presented throughout the world between December 6 and 11, 2021 by the diplomatic-consular network of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, consisting of Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes. Because this is a collaboration with the Directorate General for the Promotion of the Country System of the MAECI with the support of the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity of the MiC, the participation of the AMACI Directors and Managers in the events organized by the international network of the Farnesina and by host-country contemporary art institutions contemporary art is encouraged. As in its previous editions before 2019, the seventeenth Giornata del Contemporaneo will once again include a variety of initiatives: programs by AMACI associated museums; the initiatives developed in collaboration with the foreign network of MAECI (Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes abroad); the involvement of the network of Contemporary Places promoted by the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity of the MiC (www.luoghidelcontemporaneo.beniculturali.it); and finally, offerings by participating organizations, which, along with the previous ones, make the event a robust and widespread network of cultural programs that promote the many “languages” of contemporary Italian art on the national and international level.
The Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco, in collaboration with the Cultural Institute of Chicago, is pleased to present two events:
