Cucina Ebraica

An exploration of the Jewish cooking tradition in Italy.

A fascinating look at how the Jews moved around Italy with the rise and fall of their status through the centuries, shaping and influencing the area’s cuisine, including an in-depth look at how those influences are still present today.

The evening will be a conversation between our food expert, Viola Buitoni and Francesco Spagnolo, curator of the Magnes Museum in Berkeley and a scholar on all things Jewish Italian.
