Music by Traetta, Tchaikovsky and Mozart
We sometimes forget that some of the greatest music was composed with the intention of praising God. Seattle’s Ensign Symphony, conducted by the Italian Maestro Fabio Pirola, presents The Power and Majesty of God: music by Mozart, Tchaikovsky and the lesser-known composer Tommaso Traetta (1727-79) with the praise of God as their theme.
