The SF Silent Film Festival is returning to the Castro Theatre for the 2026 edition of the festival, May 6-10. A special guest from Italy, Carlo Chatrian, will offer a presentation in the annual Amazing Tales from the Archives program. Mr. Chatrian is Director of Museo Nazionale del Cinema in Torino and he will speak on his museum’s impressive and extensive collection of pre-cinema devices.
