The Italian Cultural Institute and the Consulate General of San Francisco are pleased to present LOOKING BEYOND, a documentary exhibition aiming to enhance Italian research in the space field and raise international public awareness of the multiple uses of satellite tracking technologies created to protect the planet.
The satellite images have been acquired by the Constellation of Small Satellites for the Mediterranean basin Observation (COSMO-SkyMed), and they are part of Telespazio / e-GEOS and the Italian Space Agency database.
The exhibition is curated by Filippo Maggia, internationally renowned contemporary photographer.
LOOKING BEYOND is a collaboration between the MAECI, the Italian Space Agency and Telespazio S.p.A./e-GEOS.
The documentary exhibition can be viewed at the time of our events and by appointment, MON-FRI, 10 AM-4:30 PM
