5th Week of Italian Cuisine in the World | Italian Drive-In

On the occasion of the 5ht Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco is delighted to present two iconic movies characterized by a connection with the theme of the Italian cuisine. The screenings will take place at the Fort Mason Flix Drive-In, and will feature Sergio Leone’s masterpiece A Fistful of Dollar (Per un pugno di dollari), the film that launched the genre Spaghetti Western and catapulted Clint Eastwood into stardom, followed by An American in Rome (Un americano a Roma), with the protagonist Alberto Sordi in the unforgettable scene “Maccheroni, m’hai provocato….” as an homage to Sordi’s 100th anniversary.
