“At the Table with Italian Cuisine: Well-being with Taste”
A showcase for Italy and Italian taste in the world, the Week of Italian Cuisine in the USA, this year in its eighth edition, is an annual initiative developed to promote Italian culinary traditions and food and wine knowledge as a distinctive trait of Italian identity and culture.
This year’s initiatives will have the theme At the table with Italian cuisine: well-being with taste.

Book presentation by Italian born cookbook author Viola Buitoni.
4th EDITION OF THE CAROL FIELD AWARD
Offered to individuals and organizations dedicated to bringing awareness and understanding of Italian food culture and products.
Carol Field, who passed away in 2017, is considered to be the most important book and TV show editor in the West Coast on the subject of Italian cuisine. She was also the first person to introduce the tradition of making Italian bread to this region of the US. This event is by invitation only.
This award is granted in collaboration with the Accademia della Cucina Italiana.

On the occasion of the 8th annual edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco will present the film An Italian Gourmet Crime Story (La cena perfetta), second feature of director Daniele Minnella, on Wednesday November 15, 2023 | 6:30 PM.
