Italy/California: Sisters in Food

A gastronomical event as part of the IIC Food & Wine Series.

Join us for an in-depth look at the invisible bridge running between the food cultures of Italy and California. Far beyond the common geographical characteristics these areas share a commitment to safeguarding healthy food systems, fostering artisanal production and to the buying, cooking and eating of good food.

The panel discussion will be led by series curators Viola Buitoni and Orietta Gianjorio and it will include a horizontal tasting comparing Italian and California honeys, cheeses, chocolates and coffees, led by Gian Luigi Marcazzan, President of the Italian Register of Experts in the Sensory Analysis of Honey.
