The Week of Italian Language in the World is a yearly worldwide celebration of the Italian language and creativity. The theme for the 23rd edition of the Week is The Italian Language and Sustainability.
ABOUT
The Week of Italian Language was born in 2001, in cooperation with the Accademia della Crusca. It is organised during the third week of October by the Embassies, Consulates, and Italian Cultural Institutes, with the support of the Ministry of Culture (MiC), the Ministry of University and Research (MUR), the Government of Switzerland and all of the main partners for the promotion of the Italian language.
The 23rd Annual Week of Italian Language in the World is organized
Under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic.

CONTEST K-12: ITALO CALVINO AND THE THEME OF SUSTAINABILITY
The contest is open to the students who attend Italian classes (K-12) in the States of California, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon, Utah, and Hawaii. The submission deadline is November 30, 2023.
